How can you shut down a member who is consistenly taking money but not sending product?

There is a seller who takes payments for products but doesn't send them.  My experience with this seller is after contacting and saying item never arrived, they said not to go to the resolution centre as the same item was shipped again.  Never arrived and too late to file a claim.  Please look at their feedback as this has been done to others repeatably.  Seller stopped all communication.

Yours sincerely,

Leslee Chappus

How can you shut down a member who is consistenly taking money but not sending product?

As a buyer, you are not required to accept an offer of a replacement. You can demand a full refund. If the seller does not comply, Paypal will refund you and go after him for the money.

You can leave appropriate feedback for up to 60 days. The most effective feedback is calm and factual.

At the same time the buyer is requested to leave Detailed Seller Ratings. The normal rating is Five Stars and sellers are required to keep a DSR of over 4.3 or their accounts will be severely restricted.

The lowest rating is ONE star. No stars is a free pass because: arithmetic.

THIS IS YOUR MOST EFFECTIVE ACTION!

You can leave a Response to any feedback, your own or the seller's indefinitely. Again the most effective Responses are calm and factual.

You can Report the seller to eBay, referring to the Detailed Seller Ratings and to feedback left by others.

And of course, you can read feedback before bidding. Any feedback below 98 is poor. In most fields any feedback below 99 is poor.
