Did you ask the seller if they would make an exception. If not then there is nothing you can do about it

If Canada does not allow the item to cross the border, it will be seized and you will not have any comeback with the seller.

If the seller doesn't want to ship to Canada, look for another seller.

What exactly do you mean by "can't"?  What country is that in?  Have you contacted the

seller to ask if she will ship to you?

If it is an ordinary item but the seller does not usually ship to Canada, and if the seller is

willing to sell to you anyway, as 'toby' says you can have the seller add your name to an

exemption list thus enabling you to buy.  This is how ebay Canada explains it:

If, however, it is something which ought not to be imported into the country, as 'femme' says

it will not likely get past Customs Canada and you will end up with no item and no money.

Customs officials make no apologies.

So when doing a Search, from the left side of the page under Location, if you were to choose

Canada only  you could solve the whole problem.
