Who is 'Export My Store' and how did they get my contact information?

Late last night, I received an unsolicited email addressed to my ebay user ID but sent directly to my personal email address from a guy named Dan at a company calling itself Export My Store who sells a service where they export your ebay listings to a competing online sales platform (I won't say which one, you all know it) for a fee with free trial and wouldn't I like to try it with a pile of embedded links.

Who are these people and how did they get my email address to go with my ebay user ID?

It seems as if they already know who I am but unless they are a previous customer there should be no way to correlate the two.

Does anyone have insight to share about this?

I hadn't heard of them either - I googled them - they do exist and their fees are high (I thought)

I understand them finding you on ebay but how did they get your personal email?  That is disturbing.

Exactly. This is what confuses me. There should be no access to my email from my eBay information.
