The default Search is Best Match.
But if you look at the rest of the drop down menu , you will also see Highest Price plus Shipping, Lowest Price plus Shipping, Highest Price, Lowest Price, as well as a few other options.
Over on the left side of the page, are more options that will focus your Searches.
BTW, if the category you are searching in has thousands of items, it is best to go with Highest Price first, because the low end stuff is probably carp, misdescribed, duplicated listings, or not actually what you are looking for.
