Damaged Item During Shipping

I received a Damaged Item in my order, and I would like a replacement !

Damaged Item During Shipping

Contact your seller.

Do NOT ask for a replacement.

Ask for a refund.

The seller is allowed to ask that the item be returned (because not all buyers are honest about what they recieved).

Use tracked shipping to return it, Air Mail if it goes overseas.

Do not expect to get your return shipping back.

Some sellers will accept photos of the damaged item and packaging.

 

If the seller does not refund promptly on getting the item back, open an Item Not As Described dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page.

You will be required to prove that the seller has the item back. That's why you used tracking.

If the seller does not refund promptly, Paypal will refund you and go after them for their money.

 

You don't want a replacement because:

The seller may not have one.

There is no reason to think it will arrive in good condition, since the seller did not pack it properly the first time.

A replacement would arrive after the deadline for a Dispute.

 

Once you have your refund, you can re-order from the seller, starting a new transaction, if you still feel comfortable with his service.
