Ebay tracking error?

I'm not sure as I've never purchased an item as a guest but you should be able to copy and paste the tracking number into the website of the mail service used -- usually USPS or Canada Post    But more than likely there is nothing to see at this point. It's likely that the label was printed last night but the item won't be mailed until Monday. Even if it was put in a post office box today, it won't be scanned until it is picked up by the post office.

Ebay tracking error?

I've heard of  "tracking" numbers from there not working before so I don't know if those are true tracking numbers or not but you can try the number at these sites:

http://track-chinapost.com/

http://globaltracktrace.ptc.post/gtt.web/

http://www.track-trace.com/post

Either way, I doubt that there has been much movement in this amount of time. I've heard that some packages from China do take a month or so to be delivered but you do have up to 30 days after the last estimated delivery date to file an item not received claim through ebay or 180 days from purchase through Paypal. Actually....as a guest you might just have the option to file through Paypal.

Ebay tracking error?

If it's from China, it won't arrive for a good 30 days.

Tracking is expensive and does YOU no good.

It's there to protect sellers against phoney claims that items were not delivered.

If your item hasn't arrived in 30 days, go to the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page and open an Item Not Recieved Dispute.

Follow the prompts.

You may be asked to wait a few more days by eBay.

If you are asked to wait by the seller though, escalate to a Claim.

Do not agree to a replacement. It will not arrive either. You want your money back only.

If the seller cannot prove to eBay/Paypal that the item has been delivered (which is when tracking is useful to the seller) he is required  to refund you. If he does not, PP will refund you and go after him for their money. Hard.

So don't worry about tracking. Mark Day 30 on your calendar.

Your item may well arrive before that.
