21 day hold back again

It would appear that the 21 day hold is back 40 days later.

Over 40 days ago we got to the $250 US level that ended the 21 day hold. We are now being punished for the Canadian dollar doing bad against the US dollar..

That's right folks ,since then the Canadian/US exchange rate has changed our previous over $250 US in total sales are now shown at $236 US and the 21 day hold has been imposed again.

Whoever is responsible for this oversight is negligent.  Calls to ebay are of no use since they insist they are right when they are clearly not.

And no we are not mistaken. The $250 US was a countdown that was kept track of and looked at daily.

As you said it is US dollars.  Unfortunately the Canadian dollar is in the cesspool.

Today you have not reached 250.00 US so you need to sell a few more items.

Sell in US dollars, eBay's international currency, and the exchange rate means nothing.

Ok seller dashboard now says $246.63 US. Yesterday it said $236.63 US. The exchange rate changed by 1 cent since yesterday.

Total sales were in both US and CDN $. Now most are listed in US.

This is still ridiculous. Ebays conversion for this figure should be done at the time the payment is received from the buyer and stay the same. If the exchange rate changes by another cent tomorrow the figure will go above $250 US again but the funds for our last sale will still be held until march 23.

Ok now the total sales are over $250 US again and an item we sold yesterday has a weird 16 day hold on the funds. Sold march 15, hold is on the funds until March 31. What is going on with this?
