I just got off the phone with eBay.
A buyer purchased 3 items and I sent an invoice with combined shipping.
Now she has decided to cancel one of the items and replace it with another.
There seems to be no way to cancel only one item.
The CSR told me to send an invoice from paypal and that would solve the problem. NOT!
I'd still have to pay FVFs on the third item.
What's wrong with this picture?
Does anyone know how to cancel just one piece from a combined order?

You should be able to uncombine the invoice via selling manager under the actions submenu if the buyer has not paid yet, then combine the invoice with the desired items.

Use the Paypal invoice option.
Adjust the shipping cost to cover the FVF on the cancelled item.
It's 'Shipping and Handling' not "Exact Postage".

Thanks femme but this buyer wouldn't be happy with an extra $10 added to her bill.
I can't find any way to separate the items on the invoice. They're lumped into one with no options that i can find but I'll keep looking.
