Buyer did not receive item so they opened a case. Ebay said to refund buyer so I did through Paypal. 2 Days later Ebay informs me that they have refunded the buyer and that I need to reimburse them! Who needs to go after the buyer for the double refund?
You refunded with a direct payment through PP and not through the opened case? Mistake. That does not show as responding to the case so eBay refunded. Settle in, in the morning, and phone PP. See what they say.
No, I refunded through the open case....even got notification in the case update that I had refunded on Aug. 17.... Then received notice on Aug. 22 that Ebay had refunded.
