GST/HST is not a new sales tax.
It's just eBay finally giving up on avoiding the collecting of GST/HST on the monthly eBay selling fees.
An extra expense of 0.5-1.5% for small sellers, an ITC (Input Tax Credit) for GST registered sellers.
