Where do find the option of telling people that you are away for a few days?

Where do I find the option of letting people know that I'm away for a few days? It's like a ticker tape at the top of an ad. Help.

Where do find the option of telling people that you are away for a few days?

Only sellers with stores have that feature.

Only Store owners can put their listings On Vacation.

But with 166 listings, you may find it worthwhile to open a Store. There are other advantages including fee breaks.

When you say 'a few days', do you mean a long weekend? Or two weeks in Zimbabwe?

For a long weekend, don't do anything. You can ship a business late without any likely problems.

Sometimes less communication is better.

EBay will invoice your customer if you have the shipping set up in advance.

For a week or more, close all your listings.

Don't panic.

They will go into your Unsolds for 90 days and can be reopened when you return.

Yes, you will pay for the closed listings. Yes, you will pay when you reopen them.

You have to decide for yourself if paying the listing fees twice is better than being unable to ship a purchase while you are away and the fallout from that.

You can use bulk edit to extend your handling time while you're gone although that doesn't guarantee that a buyer will notice that your handling time is longer than usual.
