In the process of posting my listing I seem to be stuck on auction instead of the posted fixed price

In the process of listing my item for sale I seem to be stuck on auction when I had shown a fixed price. In revising that it would not allow me without my cellphone functioning.

Cell phones have many limitations for selling on eBay.

Your best bet is to forget using it for this purpose and move to a laptop or desktop where you can see all the options available to you.

But then, I would also advise not trying to sell here until you have done some buying (a scale, poly envelopes, printer ink, discount postage stamps, for example) to help you understand the customer experience.

Zero feedback sellers are a favourite dish of scammers. Poached, with fava beans and nice Chianti.

Hello 'ca2015_han',

<< In the process of posting my listing I seem to be stuck on auction>>

Is this the user ID from which you wish to list your item?  Of course it is a good idea to buy a few little items first to gain a bit of experience with transactions.  If you are having difficulty with your listing it could simply be a computer glitch (they happen quite a bit) or it may be due to using a phone.

The ebay system is not set up for listing with a hand held device, -- and for the matter of that, buying from a phone causes all sorts of problems as well.

If you can, get to a real computer.  If there is none at home, find one at work or even a public library.  Perhaps a friend or relative will let you stop by and use theirs to post your listing.

And if you are as new to selling as you appear to be, make sure you understand ebay's limits on new sellers, including paypal's 21-day hold on the funds placed on new sellers (you can't access the money yet but you still have to mail the item):

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/pay/payment_hold.html#new

Then be sure to have a look at ebay's outline on how to sell successfully:

To begin selling successfully, -- find a real computer.  It'll be worth it in the end. Smiley Happy
