Would like to start selling

Hi! I've been buying on Ebay for awhile now and would like to start selling now, just odds and ends (not a business). I would like it totally separate from my buying account. Do I need a new email addy, can I use the same bank account? Do I re register? What about Paypal?? I am registered on Ebay.ca. Thank you!

You can only have one account per email address. So you'd need an email address.

If you want to keep your buying and selling accounts separate, open a new one for buying and use this one for selling. You want to have feedback and a profile history established before you start selling with an account. It fosters trust and confidence from buyers,

For another account, you need to have a separate email address. You can easily get one for free.

You can use your current Paypal account, unless you want to have a separate ones for buying and for selling.

I agree that your new account should be your buying account though.

Feedback is trustworthiness and this account has a high trust factor.

As the others have stated, it is a good idea to keep buying and selling on separate IDs.

Each new eBay registered account requires its own email addy.  You can easily get an extra if you need to from places like hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.

You register each new ID on eBay with its associated email.

Your bank account does not need to be attached to each new email.  It is already attached to your PayPal.

You can have as many as 8 different eBay IDs (with their email addys) attached to your one PayPal account.

Some pages you should look at before you start selling (the ones that always give new sellers the most trouble):

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/sellinglimits.html

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/pay/payment_hold.html

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html
