why wont it let me list shipping from canada to usa

when trying to list something in canada i have trouble finishing the listing because of the shipping   why

Are you using Flat Rate or Calculated Shipping?

Are you entering the dimensions in metric measurements? (Canada Post went metric 1n 1974, everything else is guesswork)
