Being signed out by ebay

Why do I keep having to sign in when I haven't signed out.  A dozen times within an hr. is a little excessive, and I never know, when I'm going to be bidding on something, whether I'm still signed in.

It's a wild guess on my part but you might be losing network connectivity. Or perhaps your browser is set to block cookies or to browse privately. Or you don't have the 'keep me signed in at this computer' box checked when you do sign in. Yes, no, maybe so? I've been asked to sign in more often these past few days than is usual but it's only when my account has been sitting idle for a few hours at a time.

Thanks for your reply. It might be a network connectivity problem, but this has never happened before. Cookies are not blocked; and I always check off the box when signing in. In the years that I have been on ebay, it seems that it's only been happening over the last few weeks or so.
