My collections won't work

I keep trying to add stuff to my collections but get error message, Sorry, there are system errors. Please try again. I keep trying again, later or different collections. I get the same message every time. This has been doing this for at least a week. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I don't know what the problem is but this has happened to me too in the past. 

If I remember correctly, my workaround was to create a new collection entirely and start over, as it seemed at the time for me to be a problem that was linked to the collection itself. Like, it had become corrupted.

The same thing is happening to me right now.  In fact , "my collections" is not an option in my drop down menu anymore.

I also had a different problems for the past few months before this happened

which is that items would appear in my colections that I did not put there and I was not able to delete.
