I have this exact same problem. Have for years. It is ridiculous that Ebay can't get it together by now. It is super annoying and takes a lot of time to actually call them as that is the only option a buyer has, which is also ridiculous since this is an internet buying site.

Adding to 'reallynicestamps' explanation about the 60 days, so long as the item has not been removed from eBay for a violation (like being fake or counterfeit) the things you bought should be in your Hidden files that go back 3 years.  Have you checked there?
