Why is the printed page too wide for my printer even on landscape? CRS

When I print my receipt it is too wide to fit on a 8.5" X 11" piece of paper even on landscape. Why is that so? CRS

Have you tried making the font smaller?

Have you tried cutting and pasting onto a Word or TextEdit document and manually changing the length of the lines?
