how can I get rid of these bloody annoying ads when I use Ebay

How can I get rid of the annoying advertisements on Ebay? I am starting to use other vendors to avoid this problem.

I enabled that so long ago that I have no idea how it was done.

But it means that I was actually unaware that these ads exist.

You'd think they would be counterproductive, since they annoy people so much.
