There are widespread site issues that might be affecting what you are attempting to do.

Have you tried the Sell Your Item form that is under Sell at the top of this page? You probably want the Advanced version.

Outside of charging for scheduled listings, there doesn't seem to be any downside to using it that anyone has ever explained to me.

yes earlier today was also having issues with Turbo Lister - error messages when uploading but after checking the affected listing(s) & finding nothing wrong, tried upload again & finally after several tries, all seemed good to go & upload worked for me.
