Buyer Received Items After Opening Case But Didn't Close Case

I had a buyer open a Items Not Received case. After 2 1/2 months they finally received the items. They e-mailed me & thanked me.  I asked them to close the case but they are a new buyer & may not know what to do. Will the case automatically be closed after a certain amount of time or do I need to do something else?

Had the buyer been refunded?

Did she offer to refund the refund?

Have you sent her a Send Money Request through Paypal asking for her to refund the refund?

The buyer had not been refunded. She was willing to wait for the items to come. I just want her to close the case that was opened.

eBay will eventually close it so I wouldn't worry about it.
