Can anyone identify this lapel pin?

Can anyone identify this pin? Haven't been able to find a duplicate online, but it is clearly some fraternal pin of some sort. No identifying marks on the back to help, either. Would appreciate any help.

It may be fraternal but with the Anvil,  gear and want looks like a compass from a geometry set .  I am thinking more in the lines of some type of Union maybe or some type of Manufacturer - industrial type.

I have had some of pins that are next to impossible to determine who they are

Those things are tongs.  It's a blacksmith pin, with the anvil, gears, hammer & tongs.  I'm thinking it could be "wmsf", reading down instead of acrooss because that would give you  "w... metal smith forge"  but that's just a wild guess.  

A person would have to look into it a bit, it's not a common one.
