does anyone know what a wifi booster does alot on here sell them my wifi is up and down on laptop and works ok on desk top thanks

How far away from your router is the laptop? Boosters are used to extend the range so if you are having trouble with the laptop connection and it's NOT far away from the router then a booster won't likely help.
