Typical eBay responce - if is ain't broke - FIX IT.

This is a disaster.

Over the top for a country our size, confusing and pretty much stupid.

I notice that in the Buyers and sellers group - Seller Central is all the way down at the bottom.

You know - us sellers who tend to make all the money for eBay and have by far the largest number of posts.

The six ahead of it are those that tend to encourage buying.

Typical!

Sellers may pass along the money to eBay, but it's the buyers who generate that money in the first place.

eBay knows what side its bread is buttered.

Pandering to us by asking our opinion is disingenuous. You don't care and never have. You do not implement what we would like and dismiss us with "They will just have to get used to it".

I find it much harder to read, but, I will get used to it.

The amount of blue is difficult on my eyes, but I will get used to it.

You will change it all soon, but I will get used to it.

Thank you for your concern.

At least it's a nicer change than the disappointing & silly Logo change or having to suffer that ridiculous language tab/pulldown menu at the top of the screen in the first position (how many times does one change their language anyway) couldn't that be waaay over the right & keep the My ebay pull down as the first tab - the flag is very pretty & all - it's just in the way!

Will get some time to get used to but I think it's worthy upgrade.

Much more functions, posts thumbs-up, private messages, subscriptions, email replies, editing own post, etc.

I would appreciate more Ebay integration, link to member listings, shared sing-in.

It would be nice to be able to search all forums like on old board.

Overall - thumbs up.

When are we going to see a useful change like making the measurements for shipping default to metric since Canada Post has been using metric measurements since 1974?

As for these Boards, well the PowerSellers Board has disappeared. It was a useful place for sellers to discuss problems frankly.

And I liked the Pinks. No reason to change that to Blue. (Hey that makes a note from an eBay employee getting the Blues). The pink matched my hair too.

I notice that we cannot click on a poster and find out what they sell, what they have listed, check thier feedback or get any information at all. Am I missing something or was this done on purpose and if so why?

At least we can still rat them out - yahoo.

The poster's feedback and a link to View listings are in the programming stage. Pulling info like that from another site is apparently not a common discussion board feature so it's not part of Lithium's standard package of options.

Sorry - just not true - when a poster asks a question about his listing or a sellers listing and it happens all the time - the only way to help, is to look at the listing.

I said "Pulling info like that from another site is apparently not a common discussion board feature"

I meant that other companies that use Lithium as their community platform don't pull in info about their posters. Not that it's uncommon on the eBay boards.   Hence the extra time required to implement this feature.

Do we know why post #2 has a blue border? Just wondering.

I like the new format. Love the ability to insert a numbered or bulleted list.

An ebay employee, the old pinks are now blues.
