How long do I have to create a complaint?
Feb 22, 2012 03:29 PM

Hi

I am waiting for an item(the auction said 30 days max it's been probably 40 days now).

I been talking the seller and he said it should be between 30 and 60 days.

Since the item had free shipping and comes from china I will wait till 60 days up but I saw this under the item in my account

Don't forget to leave feedback! If there was a problem, please go to the Resolution Centre by 28/02/12.

Does that mean if I wait till the 60 days are up(would be like March 15th) I lose the right to complain if it is not here?

In case of non-receipt, you MUST file a complaint with PayPal within 45 days maximum.  Do not wait until the last day.  Time to file is NOW.  It has been long enough.

If the item arrives in the next few days, you can always cancel your claim with PayPal.

Make sure NOT to cancel your complaint until the goods are in your hands and in good condition, regardless of any request or promise from the seller.

Is this for the batteries you paid $1.08 for with free shipping.

They are probably knock off batteries anyway.

If the item was fake, the buyer has the right to open an item not as described dispute but the cost of return postage would make that impractical.

there is also the possibility that since the item(s) you ordered are coming from overseas that they could have been held up by customs...  I have had that happen to me with some non-ebay orders.

I only use Buy it Now & Paypal...
