How much by fees would eBay take out if I sell a van?

This year sometime later I would plan to sell off my van, and was consirdering to use the eBay Motors to place an listing. However, I do have a concern regarding about how much I'd lose out if eBay strip out for their fees charged against me.

So, this is ithe question - by how much in fees and any percent would I lose if the van was to be sold ... say, about $3,000 as for an exmaple?

I need to get an idea what amount I'd stand to get after all had been said. Thanks!

"consirdering to use the eBay..."

Don't.

Go visit a few used car dealers in your area and take the best offer.

I'm not sure if some used car dealers would go for a vintage vehicle like my van is. It's already 41 years old.  But it'll be fun to see what they'd offer. My bet is that some will try offer like $500 or something like that - LOL!

I wouldn't take anything less ... not when it get a fresh paint job and lots of work done!

Maybe I'll do the Kijiji thing and a few others like automobile clubs to get the max dollar I can get.

Thanks for the advice :)

Kijiji is a good idea.  I would also try something like the Auto Trader or Truck Trader.  There are classic cars listed in those all the time.

Ebay will get you all kinds of hassles, especially if some guy in Timbuktoo buys it.
