I have sent a few things there in the past with no problem.  All of my international packages are sent Light or Small Packet.

Good luck!

I've sold to various parts of the former Soviet Union, with no problems. For some reason they buy Strunk & White 's Guide to English Writing and Robert's Rules of Order. Nothing else, but I've sold several of those titles.

And yes, Small Packet Air International with its $100 automatic insurance against loss or damage in transit is your friend.

Buyer has only two feedback but what can you do. They bought & i still have to ship.

Even though this Deadstock Shirt has been sitting around for awhile ,shall it go missing I will then just block Russia as a country to ship to.

Postal insurance is our friend. Of course i would rather have it arrive at its destination.

While I have just emerged from my worst buyer experience EVER (and he/she was in Russia).

All the rest of my Russian buyers have been great and I've never had much of a problem with their postal system other than it being a tad slow (but as fast or faster than many other countries).

I am in the process of being scammed by a buyer in Russia over a cell phone issue.  S/he is alleging that the phone I listed and sold as new, other (because box was opened) is in fact used and damaged, which is not the case.  Emails from the buyer have been particularly nasty - calling me a liar, cheat, etc. when I have offered a refund.  From this experience, I would never sell to anyone in Russia again.

Pretty schoolyard isn't it?

If you sent the item with Delivery Confirmation (Expresspost International) then to get a refund she has to return it to you with Delivery Confirmation.

Until then, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".

Try a calm response to your customer, using Google Translate to put it into Russian. Or do not respond unless she does open a Dispute and then respond only in the Dispute. (But translate your replies.)

The buyer has in fact now opened a dispute with Paypal -- even though I offered a refund immediately upon receiving the phone back.  This is a person who had a feedback rating of 2, and I believe that he will end up getting a refund, plus my phone, because I don't expect to see it again.  I also think that is why he is going on and on about me -- calling me a "fraudster" on the Paypal dispute postings.  He is making far too big a deal about this considering I immediately offered him a refund, even though the condition of the phone he claims to have received is nothing at all like the phone I initially mailed to him.  And of course he is also promising to leave me horrible feedback.  This is my first experience with something like this -- although I have read about scams like this before on various discussion boards on the internet.  I honestly think this person is playing eBay, Paypal, and me, and I have this sinking feeling that I am going to come out the loser here.

Again, I repeat that I would never sell to anyone in Russia again.
