An FYI for anyone this applies to.   eBay has a lock you can put on payouts. Unfortunately at their discretion(eBay) can override and force a payout. Was waiting on charges for several postage charges from early Sept to come through. A few have already been delivered and the rest are in limbo, held up with the mail strike. This morning got a notice that payout had been forced. In confirming my settings the tab is still locked off. From a sellers perspective this IS the only way to hold funds. Made even more challenging not knowing when having consistent sales will be a thing. Because there is no consistency with CP label processing, afraid to imagine what others are up against with UPS/Fedex and duty chargebacks or returns and their schedule for payment processing. Just not a fan of willy nilly charges to my bank account.  I currently have 1 order to ship with no method withing eBay for shipment. All CP options have been deactivated. Nothing displays for UPS or Fedex even if I wanted to ship that way. Having choice should NOT be a bad thing!!!!   Disclaimer: Your situation may vary so this topic may not be applicable or a concern.   @devon@ebay     PS. Are there sellers still processing CP shipments with CP software with intention of creating and then just dropping off when strike has been resolved?

Sellers on ebay.com are allowed to use funds they earned from selling to purchase items on eBay. Is this something that is available on ebay.ca? or will become an option in the future?

My item status shows addresse notified but i didnt received anything or notification at home..can any one help please how to get my item if its showing this notification on ebay tracking..thank you

I have been with ebay for 20 years.     I agree to their fees as it is a good site to sell on.      At some point in time, they decided they will collect taxes (I only sell used goods, so the government is getting some nice money .... tax me on income, tax me when buying the item with my net of tax money, then tax someone else on the item again when I sell it).   My issue is more with the fact their fee is on this money I haven't even seen, they do all the work and charge me for it.   For example 2 years ago I sold something for $100.  My fees (assuming 10% to not make it confusing with the tax rate) would be $10.   Today I sell the same item at the same price without anything but taxes changed.   I sell for $100.   The government charges the customer $13 so they have to pay $113.  They take the tax and submit it without me being involved.  So my portion is still $100, governments portion is $13.   My ebay fees is now is $11.30 because they charge me 10% of the total including tax.   Nothing changed on my side at all.   I feel like this is sneaky and something I didn't agree to at all.   Who can we talk to about this?  Will ebay even consider making things right and charge fees on the correct amount?

Got this buyer refused 1st delivery attempt not wanting to pay tariffs. Without procession of the parcel at that point Opened a item not as described case Clearly stating he is doing this to avoid paying tariffs. I called ebay the next two days. At least 3 reps told me to ignore the request, wait until tbe 3rd day to ask ebay to step in because obviously he was making a false claim. On 2nd day the buyer paid the tariffs , item delivered. Not a single word from him. I noticed the delivery. Call ebay again. Talk to multiple reps with them reconfirm the do not respond instruction to me. On 3rd day during midnight. Case automatically rule in buyer favor. I call in to seek help. Rep told me they are on it. 4 hours later i found out no appeal was filed. Did it myself. Few hours after. Appeal declined. Final. Reason? I never responded. That is not remotely fair isnt it? I follow what ebay told me to do an is being blame and penalize of it. Some one from ebay management needs to see this. I have another buyer with similar situation Following this with reps also tell me to do the ignore don't respond. I dont want to get screw back to back.

There are so many items I am interested in bidding or buying, but when I see the shipping cost I am immediately out of my budget. 30 or 50 Canadian dollars to ship a small item is ridiculous. I used to enjoy shopping on ebay for various collectibles. Now it's just an exercise in frustration.

Has anyone found an economical way to ship small items to Germany? Under 20.00. In testing the listing the system only is allowing for CP (which would be blocked) and Fedex Intl Economy at almost 100 CAD. They wanted UPS but that discounted service is NOT included. Germany is still on the Suspended Service list so in practice CP should NOT be available. Suspended Service Destinations Canada Post lists complete or partial service suspensions to the following countries: Austria Belarus Belgium Czech Republic (Czech Rep.) Cuba Denmark Finland France Germany Haiti Iran Korea, North (Democratic People's Republic) Libya Luxembourg Portugal Russia Somalia Sudan Syria West Bank and Gaza Strip Yemen [ 1 ] @devon@ebay Where are the Intl shipping options for shipping outside of eBay? Based on eBay's Calculator tool the ONLY other discounted option is Fedex. In testing the eBay Calculator tool it is ONLY showing USPS as an option. Do Canadian and US sellers no longer have access to intl shipping outside of eBay with a discounted rate??

I recently shipped an item using a courier called Dragonfly and uploaded the tracking number to eBay. Unfortunately, the tracking information is not syncing with eBay’s system, and it is not showing as "delivered" on my account, even though the courier has confirmed delivery. eBay is currently performing a verification process on this transaction and is requesting proof of delivery, but because eBay does not officially support Dragonfly as a carrier, the system is not recognizing the status. I have already spoken with an eBay agent who confirmed that Dragonfly is not integrated into their system. Does anyone have advice on how to manually verify the delivery status or provide the necessary proof to eBay in this situation? Any guidance on how to resolve this so my funds are released would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I’m looking for answers on yet another feebay disaster before I close my account for a second and final time. No help from customer service. I cancelled a sale, refunded the buyer, and voided the shipping label. (UPS for some reason) Now feebay is trying to collect the shipping cost and fees. Even UPS hounded the buyer and myself after explaining to a representative that there is no shipment. Oh how I miss the early days of penny auctions and simple transactions! I’ve really had it this time. Rico Since posting I’ve found a few similar posts… seems to be happening a lot?

Once again, EBay takes another step back on features for sellers. Now on your Orders page it only shows the total number of orders and the running sales total has dissappeared. Just like the Advanced Search that used to let you search your items by a price range, another feature that I used alot is gone. Yeah, yeah, Ebay reports. Having the sales totals for 90 days, this month, last month, this year, last year allowed you to quickly track and compare your $ sales totals with a couple of clicks. Maybe removing that is the point. Some sellers are having a hard time based on their product categories. Lots have left altogether. EBay, if you're listening or even care, THIS is a FAIL.
