For Canadian buyers planning to purchase from USA - USPS price increases
FYI. This announcement was just posted on the dot com board. https://community.ebay.com/forum/announcements-57928/topic/usps-rate-and-service-update-466150/ Info to note: The United States Postal Service has announced rate and service updates effective July 12, 2026. We’ve highlighted the updates to eBay Labels below. 📦 Updates to USPS Mail & Shipping Service Pricing Ground Advantage: although USPS is changing how it prices packages under 1 lb, the good news is eBay Labels will continue to offer the same four weight tiers with no rate increases at this time. Rates for packages over 1 lb are also unchanged. Media Mail rates are decreasing by an average of 1.8%. Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express have no rate changes. Policy Updates: Hazmat Shipping & DIM Measurements Dimensional Weight Updates: USPS is changing both the DIM divisor and the rounding logic to calculate dimensional weight. The DIM divisor is changing from 166 to 139 and measurements will be rounded up to the next whole number. Ground Advantage Cubic and Priority Mail Cubic will continue to round to the nearest quarter inch. Cubic pricing eligibility is expanding, with the maximum allowable dimensions on any side increasing from 18 inches to 22 inches for both Priority Mail and Ground Advantage. Will mean expect to see shipping price increases for purchases from US sellers. This will include item purchased thru eIS. And bare bones in the way of discounts for intl shipping. (3% to 5%) US tool. https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates This can be more penalizing to buyers if sellers are substantially inflating package measurements and don't, as a matter or routine refund on shipping.

This scheme is horrible, always has been and always will. I keep saying, l`ll never buy on ebay again, but sometimes it seems to be the only place to find what youre after. Recently I made a purchase(June 29th) and its been a half a month so far. 3 days to get from CA to IL, 10 days running circles in IL and 4 days ago reached Canada. 4 different tracking numbers, with little or no info, total shit show. As someone else here had mentioned outrageous costs. No doubt its just another way to make money, even if a little bit, but millions of shipments a day equals millions a day more for the rick pricks that runs this organization. What the hell happened?

Why does the cost of shipping from US to Canada gone through the roof lately.
Trying to purchase a bag from the US lately and every time I spot something I like the shipping cost is $40 to $60 US which makes it $82 or so on a $60 shipping fee. Quite rare to find shipping under $35. $35 sounds good compared to $60 I guess. But still $45 to $50 & up for us. Bags I am looking at usually are under a pound to 2 max. Why the crazy shipping costs? I find its worse now than when the GSP was in place. One seller agreed to ship first class which gives tracking where the shipping came out to about $23.00. I did not win the auction. She wasn't aware that she could ship this way. But if she can ship for that price why can't the rest of them also. I realize give or take a few dollars from this amount because of different weight and distance. Very few sellers with the lower shipping costs. Why do we need to ask and explain about the cheaper route every time. Some won't bother they don't care. Cannot find similar bags in Canada so have to resort to finding one in the US. No easy task because of all this. Any explanation for this. US complains about our shipping costs. Imagine having to pay this. Way too expensive. An item under 2 lbs, not that large and it'll cost me $60 shipping. No choice but to pass.

I was supposed to receive an item 7 months ago. It hasnt shipped and ebay refuses to refund it.

Item Liquidated at the shipping hub.
I was trying to track my order on ebay. I was informed that my items were LIQUIDATED the shipping hub. What does that even mean? How does one contact the shipping hub? Ebay customer service was NO HELP.

eBay EIS return
I've been buying for a long time but never have had to do a return. Recently bought an item described as "authentic" which wasn't. Initiated a return and found out that the seller has no downside, gets to keep the money, and then EIS sent me a DHL shipping label, etc. Now it's stuck with DHL asking for information from me and I don't know what information they want and don't have anything other than what was sent by ebay for the return. With what we pay for EIS this is ridiculous. And there is no way to contact eBay to fix this.

I ordered my package march 25th and now it says it arrivied in Glendale. Will it arrive to me by next week? It says April 9-16 which is a long time

Item bought and not received case
Hello, I need some help... I bought a item back on Apr 19, 2026 it was a 100oz sliver bar from China and on May 24 when the seller admitted that the item was delivered to the wrong address I opened a eBay 100% money back case. Myself and the seller went back and forth for the 4 business days and we couldn't work out anything. The seller wanted me to close the case and refund the money "outside" of the case which means that I wouldn't be covered by eBay and couldn't reopen the case if he didn't give me a refund. So of course I kept the case open so that I could ask eBay to "step in", So on May 29 eBay messaged me from their "eBay High Value Claims Team" and said that the case closed in my favor and I will be getting a full refund and that would take 2-5 business days to refund. So after the 6th day I still didn't have a refund and the case was put on Hold, So I called eBay and asked for more details about why its on hold and they replied with something along the lines of "We are waiting for more documents from the seller and the seller has up to X date to provide those documents" and the seller had a few days to provide more documents. So after a few days the seller didn't provide the right documents so that the cased more from "Hold > Pending" and again I was told a few times that the case closed in my favor by the agents. So I gave eBay another call and each agent told me something along the lines of "You will get the refund by X date". Still had no refund so I called last Friday (June 12) and spoke to a manger he told me that they are waiting for a signature from the back office to approve of the refund. And I asked if it was worth calling my credit card and doing a charge and I believe he said by next Friday would be best to give the credit card a call for a charge back. So long story short the case has been open almost a month and even though I was told by the "eBay High Value Claims Team" that the case closed in my favor and I would get a full refund I still do not have a refund and I don't know what I should do next? Do I give the credit card a call? Do I call eBay back again? I'm getting quite upset because I don't know what my next steps are. And I haven't heard much about the case from eBay every time I had a update was myself calling the agents on the phone. Also the other issue is every time I call the story changes I don't get the same info from different agents. And also eBay will not reply to my emails that I sent through the "Help and Contact" Thanks,

No Print Option on Orders Page (Buying)
I purchased an item this morning and when I "view order details" there is no print option available. I just printed an invoice for a different item yesterday. Is this a mistake or..... ?
