Anyone know who does last mile delivery for Mailboxes Etc?

I'm contemplating a purchase from a seller in Spain who uses Mailboxes Etc for shipping. I've never dealt with this courier company and was wondering if anyone know who does last mile delivery in Canada for them? Do they hand off to Canada Post or use another courier?

I live in the Greater Toronto Area if that makes a difference.

FWIW Mailboxes etc is owned by UPS (North America) so that should give you an idea of how something would be arriving in majority of cases.

In March 2001, UPS acquired Mail Boxes Etc., which was founded in 1980 as an alternative to the post office.

Oakville-based Canadian company MBEC Communications Inc. owns the master license to The UPS Store in Canada and actively supports the chain nation-wide.

Mail Boxes etc’s operations outside of North America are owned by the Italian-based Fineffe Group, @lotzofuniquegoodies. However, you’re correct about it seeming to have a preferential deal with UPS if the information in this news release is still current:

My understanding is that Mail Boxes Etc. is not a courier company, but a "one stop" shipping store where customers choose what specific courier or service they want to deal with at the time they purchase their shipping, sort of like what Staples offers.

MBE probably only deals with multinational carriers that wouldn't hand off anything to Canada Post. I suggest you ask the seller if they've shipped to Canada in the past and if so, if they recall what carrier they ended up using.

(Fun fact: MBE's US operations transmogrified into the UPS Store.)
