Buyer Beware Of Buying Bell Satellite Receivers
Summary: newf9982 shares a cautionary tale about purchasing Bell Satellite Receivers, highlighting their experience of buying a unit that was not deactivated from the previous owner. After several attempts involving the seller and supposed previous owner, the unit remained unusable, rendering it worthless. Fortunately, a refund was provided, but newf9982 warns potential buyers to verify the deactivation status with Bell to avoid similar issues.
Just a heads up for anyone buying Bell Satellite Receivers. I purchased one fand it was not cleared and deactivated from the previous owner which was advertised in the add. Upon contacting the seller, he had to contact the previous owner (a neighbor) whonin turn advised it was her daughters whom.she had to.contact to get receiver deactivated. Through the jigs & reels and multiple messages the unit was not deactivated. He did quickly refund the price of the order but now im.stuck with a piece of garbage that doesnt work and have to look for another. Almost seems like it could have been stolen or who knows. Anyways, always double.and triple check with seller and make sure unit is clear from bell to.avoid the aggrevation of this. Thanks
