Canceled transaction
Summary: yellow98gt described a situation where they won and paid for an auction, only to have the seller cancel the order with a false excuse about their address, then relist the item and block yellow98gt from bidding again. flipistics suggested reporting the seller to eBay. Another participant shared their own similar negative experience with eBay sellers, mentioning that complaints seem ineffective with high-volume sellers. reallynicestamps questioned if "zaricro" was indeed the seller and advised avoiding auctions in favor of Fixed Price listings to avoid such issues.
I now know this is the case as hours later he relisted the item and blocked me from bidding on it even though I still have had no communication from him

·1 year agoThis is another reason why Auctions are less than 15% of eBay listings.
The seller is required to ship even if there is only one bid, and many set their opening bid too low.
Ignore auctions and go for Fixed Price listings. Not only will you know what you will pay, but you can even use Best Offer and if accepted, get a better price.
