Captcha has gone bats**t crazy
Summary: leaky-bucket-labs expressed frustration about encountering a captcha when trying to view a seller's user profile on eBay despite being signed in. eburtonlab suggested the issue might be related to browser cookies and advised manually deleting eBay cookies or using another browser, while noting they did not experience the same issue. electronicifycanada shared their experience using the Brave browser without encountering captchas, suggesting the problem could be browser-specific.
It wants a captcha to look at a sellers user profile?
I'm signed in, looking at a purchase Order details and went I click on the sellers name, it wants a captcha?
Ebay has lost its mind, and I'm really tired of it

·3 years agoI never get a captcha when using eBay so it might be your browser causing the problem. I use brave browser and I even block lots of the trackers eBay has.

·3 years agoThat might be an indication that your browser is not handling cookies properly. If there is nothing odd about your network and you are not using any privacy software such as Ghostery or Disconnect, then most likely either you are deleting eBay cookies, or you have a corrupt or blocked eBay cookie.
Try manually deleting your eBay cookies once to see if that makes a difference.
Or try another browser.
I just tried going to my purchase history on ebay.ca. Although I had to sign in again, there was no Captcha and I was able to view seller profiles from my order details.
