Fraud seller
Summary: 914nd expressed frustration over a purchase from a seller they suspect to be fraudulent. They bought a Dell AIO machine from a seller without previous sales on eBay, who has since failed to ship the item and stopped communicating. marnotom! provided guidance, suggesting that while eBay's waiting period is frustrating, it's likely that the seller hasn't received the payment due to eBay's hold. They advised on filing a case for an item not received if the seller has been removed by eBay and emphasized caution when purchasing expensive items from sellers with no feedback.
I am not sure I am at right place or not? I bought AIO dell machine and seller seem to me fraud. First he have not sold any item on ebay. 2nd once he got my money only he did is create label but USPS is still waiting for item after one week. Unfortunately, Ebay is worst place to do business. They do not open any kind of request until 7 days. I did contacted seller numerious time but initially he keep lying about daugther is hospital and mother will come to take care of girl and then he will get time to ship. totally BS. one time he reply that he will tell his boss to drive him to USPS. nothing happen after 2 days. Now he stopped communicating. Ebay does not allow me until Aug 1st to talk to them. Shame on Ebay too.
NEVER BUY FROM SELLER WHO HAS NO EXPERIANCE. THOISE ARE FRAUDS.
Now my money get stuck and I can't buy replace item. Project gets delayed.

·1 week agoI'm not sure if you're in the right place, either. These are the eBay Canada community discussion boards, and you appear to be registered in the United States. Your post will be seen mostly by Canadian eBay buyers and sellers.
I'm also not sure if you're looking for advice or if you're just trying to pass along advice.
Anyway, sorry you're being put through the wringer here. As you've (sort of) concluded, it's not usually a good idea to buy a pricier item like a computer from an eBay seller with little to no feedback or track record. Having said that, if your seller was trying to take your money and run, be assured that it's likely that eBay has put your payment on hold and your seller hasn't seen any sort of payment from you.
You've been on eBay for a while, so you should have some understanding of how the Money Back Guarantee works. You can file a case for an item not received after the last estimated date for the delivery of the item has passed, which only makes sense as tracking information can be inaccurate or misleading, or the item may be experiencing delays in transit beyond the seller's control (although this doesn't seem to be the case here).
However, if the seller has been removed by eBay, you should be able to contact customer service and file a case for an item not received (INR) before that last estimated delivery date.

OP1 week agoSo, I guess I need to wait till Aug. 1st. to open case. eBay suggested me in past that I need to wait till last day of promise day, and you will see choice to open a case for refund.
I thought if I will buy college student item and give 5- start review and then he will start with 100% best review and his life with eBay will fly. I learn hard way, that never get emotional and trust blindly on newcomers. Thanks for reply.
