Dear America. No, your oil painting isn't worth thousands!
I'm really sick of the way things are going in the art category. People, especially in America are taking the **bleep**.

1. Over charging. Charging ridiculous sums for even the most awful paintings. They really are not worth that much. Just because something is old doesn't mean it is worth a lot.

2. Saying something is rare. The most over used word. It may be rare because it is a painting and so is a one of a kind.

3. Advertising garbage paintings as Impressionist, naiive or folk art.
4. So many fake, factory art works from the far East advertised as antique original art work.

5. Out of this world shipping charges.

6. Paintings from Ukraine, Bulgaria, France, Italy clogging up the art category. Hundreds of 'paintings' from these countries at ridiculous prices that look like their kid has painted it.

I realise people can charge whatever they want, but get real. You will NEVER sell them.
