Tracking is a Seller Protection.

It does not speed up delivery, nor does it mean gentler treatment.

EBay gave you a window for delivery.

Mark the 'last estimated delivery date' on your calendar.

The purchase will probably arrive earlier than that, but if it is delayed you can file a Claim under the Money Back Guarantee.

There usually isn’t much reason to track an eBay package as you have an estimated delivery date range provided by eBay. If the item hasn’t arrived by that date, you can pursue a refund with the seller and eBay. Checking the tracking constantly won’t change anything.

Having said that, if you want to confirm that the item has shipped and the seller can’t or won’t provide information on the carrier, the Parcelsapp website is a good third-party tool that has information on a number of different carriers which is especially useful when the item may get handed off to one or two other carriers in the process of its transit, something that’s not unusual for items originating from China.
