Is CP dropping the ball?
Summary: john_koenig99 is experiencing an increase in "service exception" notifications from a carrier, with four incidents this year compared to two over the previous four years. They question whether this trend is due to logistics issues or a demotivated workforce, citing a recent example where a package was delayed and misrouted in Canada.
I don't know if it's only my impression, but I am getting more and more frequent "service exception" notifications from CP. Much more than it used to be (four this year), while in the past 4 years since I started selling here (2022-2025) I got two in total.
Has anyone noticed the same trend? Could it be related to logistics issues and/or not properly trained or demotivated work force?
This is the latest example: A package that took 10 days from Sofia, Bulgaria to Mississauga and now ended up in Sudbury ( I am in the GTA).
