Is there a call number to speak with an agent to confirm my correct address?

I made a purchase & afterwards the incorrect shipping address appeared in the details of the purchase & shipping. I corrected & updated the new address again then refreshed but old was still showing. Is there contact number in international hub in glendale heights, il ? I live 3000 miles away from the last address in the middle of the ocean, so I will not be able to just run over and pick it up! I need to know that my package will be delivered to the new address on my account please.

·2 years agoThe address will not change on the transaction you have already made and customer service will not be able to change it. You will have to ask the seller to cancel the sale so that you can repurchase it with the correct address. Sellers are supposed to only ship to the address on the transaction so the best thing to do is cancel.
To check if the current address is on the system correctly for the next time you make a transaction, make sure that is marked as your primary shipping address on the following page.

·2 years agoThe phone clerks work for a subcontractor not for eBay, and are in Utah or the Philippines.
You want the eBay employees assigned to social media.
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.

Contact your seller to make sure the seller has not shipped yet.
Buyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.
The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.
The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.
Make sure that any old addresses are deleted from your account and that your current address is set as the Primary Shipping Address so that it appears by default in any future orders.
