Is this a lot of 3 listing? Seller insisted that it is not.
Summary: realgmaster inquired about a listing where a seller insisted it was not a 'lot of 3', though they suspected otherwise. The conversation involved flipistics and mrdutch1001, but no substantial details were shared in their responses. The matter of interpretation of the listing remains unresolved.
Hello Everyone,
In listing 364747130426, I believed I was purchasing 3 lots of 3 items (9 items in total).
However, I only received 3 items, and the seller insists that the listing is not a lot; each item represents a single unit, not a lot of 3.
I’d like to get a second opinion on who is correct.
If it is indeed a lot of 3 per item, would I be able to request a partial refund on shipping as well, in addition to the 2 lots (6 items) that I did not receive?
Thanks!

OP3 months agoThanks everyone for their advices. I have now filed a return claim for "missing pieces".
When I asked for a partial refund for the missing pieces, the seller actually recommended me to go through eBay for a resolution...
Since he seems to be a greenhorn seller, I cautioned him that if eBay rules in my favour, he will lose the original shipping cost, the fee and on hook for return shipping label... But he still wanted to involve eBay as a seller... Let see if he can pursuade eBay otherwise.

OP3 months agoThanks for your reply. I paid $51 after a best offer of $17 x 3.
So I bought what I thought was 3 (lots of 3 items) with a total of 9.

·3 months agoIf THAT'S the case then I definitely agree with you. Under quantity it clearly says 3 items per lot. That may not be what the seller intended, but it's not your problem.
File a claim with eBay.

·3 months agoIf that be the case, then indeed it's a viable reason to file a claim against the seller.

·3 months agoThe quantity description"3 items per lot", so unless you purchased 3 Lots, at $20 per Lot, then 1 lot = 3items as per the description.
So was your item price total $20 or $60.??

·3 months ago@realgmaster I read it as 3 total items. That said, the picture appears to show 4 which is a really, really bad idea by the seller.
