Possible reselling scam?

I purchased a blu ray box set with a storage box and wrapped volumes on March 1st, a week or so later the seller said it was lost during shipment, I got refunded. Another week or so later another listing by a different seller with a similar boxset description is listed for a higher price. I bought it and now the seller says it was damaged and says that he would like to offer me a refund. Stuff like this happening twice for the similar item is suspicious.
