·3 years agoWow, never heard of digital cards before. Just did a search on .com using 'digital card' and got 53,000+ listings in the collectable category. I can't wait to they start showing up at the local thrift store!

·3 years agoYou're not going to receive anything if you don't download the app and provide the seller with the relevant information they want from it.
Digital baseball cards do appear to be a "thing," at least on eBay. I entered "digital ba" into the eBay search bar and it auto-completed to "digital baseball cards." While I think it's a bit scummy of the seller to take advantage of buyers who didn't read the listing closely enough, they're certainly within their rights (at least on eBay) to do so.
Digital items are also generally not eligible for coverage under eBay's Money Back Guarantee program (check the listing page to see if it applies to your sale), so you're probably not going to be able to get any help from eBay if you're unable to download the app and follow the seller's instructions to get your item.
The seller seems to be pretty firm about their no refund policy. I guess they've been burned by too many buyers abusing their refund privileges, so they've had to come down hard on those making "accidental" purchases. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hope this wasn't an expensive lesson.

·3 years agoYou can give it a try but somehow I don't think this will end in your favor if the seller states "digital card" in the description, so trying to get a refund for "not as described" won't fly. You may want to research this "digital" card thing on the internet....
Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject will come along and offer some guidance and/or assistance.
