Sellers who create labels but never ship the item

I've run into another seller, another Canadian unfortunately, who pulls the print a shipping label to make it look like they've shipped the item but neve actually hand the package over to the carrier trick. This has happened to me twice before in the last couple of years. No response to messages either. Are they hoping i just forget and they get to keep the money i paid? Not sure what the game plan is. In the other two cases i eventually got a refund after having to wait and having the hassle. I cant believe there are still sellers like this on Ebay. It's one of the major reasons i only purchase on Ebay if i have no other choice. Sadly all three instances are by Canadian sellers. Very disappointing to see.

OP2 weeks ago · Editedall of the buyers were reasonably established with hundreds of feedback comments. The most recent one has over 14k transactions since 2016. Feedback was 99.2 positive, so i didn't bother to read it. Now i have a tracking number that is just sitting there waiting for a package. When the seller uploaded the tracking the shipper emailed me an expected delivery date. When the date passed with no package then i checked the tracking and found it was still waiting for the seller to hand over the package. I then read the feedback....16 negs and 17 neutrals in the last 12 months, almost all for item not received.

OP2 weeks agowell wonder of wonders. My item has finally been shipped. And the seller even responded to one of my messages with a corny excuse for the big delay. Anyway, we'll see what shows up in a day or two..
