Should I pay back 7833Stevens after the item arrived?
Summary: lan-party_game_sales received a refund for a delayed shipment of Doritos Fiery Mango chips from eBay's International shipping program and contacted the seller to pay them back but hasn't received a response. marnotom! and reallynicestamps clarified that the refund was likely handled by eBay or their insurance and not the seller, as the seller's responsibility ends once the item reaches the eBay International Shipping hub. They reassured lan-party_game_sales that they owe nothing more to the seller, encouraging them to enjoy the chips with a recommendation of having some milk to ease the heat.
I am from Canada and I got a refund from a bag of Doritos Fiery Mango chips from the International shipping program. I messaged the seller about paying him back. But, he hasn't responded to me yet. Should I pay back the seller after the item arrives late? It was supposed to arrive on May 9. But, it actually arrived on May 23 and the tracking information is wrong. And, I don't want to spend the extra money to ship it back. So, I want to be able to pay the seller for the item that I was refunded.

·2 years agoThe seller's responsibility for delivery ended when your chips were accepted at the eIS plant in Illinois.
He is not out a penny.
The refund came from eIS (or more precisely their insurance company) when they did not fulfill their contract with the seller and with you to deliver on time.
Enjoy your chips.
Have a glass of milk with them, for the sake of your tummy.
