Speedpak, great, but who actually delivers it in Canada..?
Summary: fordcollector6 raises concerns about the lack of clarity and transparency in delivery tracking for items shipped to Canada, questioning why detailed shipping information is not provided, especially when the tracking page is blank. reallynicestamps responds by explaining that the specific Canadian delivery company is unknown due to the potential involvement of various local firms, although Canada Post is often used. junge48 points out that ongoing postal strikes further complicate matters, causing potential delivery delays, but is reminded by mrdutch1001 that the comment is irrelevant to the original 2020 discussion. The thread is eventually closed by kh-phdan due to its age.
I see all these post about delivery standards, and the complaints in regards to it..
..but I see nothing in regards to which company(s) actually takes care of the shipping once it gets to Canada.
So who actually delivers it in Canada..?
And why isn't that detailed information listed in the tracking details..?
I see a date and the "item has been processed", but by who..?
I see it's been "delivered to local facility", but where is it..?
..and when I do click on the tracking number it always goes to a blank page..?
Seriously, how hard is it, it's not brain surgery and or rocket science..
As usual it's an epic fail in the long list of epic fails by this selling format..

·5 years agoWith the realization that the Dunning-Kroger Effect is in full control of my typing fingers:
They don't tell you because they don't know in advance how the "last mile" delivery will be done.
While usually they will use Canada Post, at times they may use other small, local firms.
..and when I do click on the tracking number it always goes to a blank page..?
Now that is a Big Problem.
Except that it really isn't for the Buyer.
You got a deadline for delivery from eBay.
If the seller cannot prove delivery after that date, you will be refunded.
If the carrier cannot deliver (you are not home and he needs a signature) he will leave a Notice telling you where and when you can pick up your shipment.
Tracking has little value for the buyer. It will not speed up delivery nor will it protect against damage in transit.
