Advice on Selling High-End Camera Equipment
I'm considering selling my Canon 100-400mm lens 4.5-5.6 L II IS USM and would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on selling high-end camera equipment. Have you sold expensive gear before? What platforms or methods have you found most effective? How do you ensure a safe transaction for both parties? Any tips on pricing and advertising would also be greatly appreciated!

·57 minutes agoToo risky, look elsewhere to sell that. Customers complain to eBay about $20 trinkets so I wouldn't bother with anything more than $100 unless you're prepared to give it away for free. eBay will side with buyers and still collects fees, 0 seller protection.

·3 weeks agoMy general recommendation is that if you're a new seller, don't start off listing high end items. Learn how selling works on eBay by selling more common, cheaper items so you learn the ropes and gain some feedback.
