send an offer duration
Does anyone know how long a sent offer stays open with a potential buyer? I vaguely remember some years ago having a sale a few days after putting my store on vacation, coming from an earlier offer. Usually I won't send out offers a week before leaving.

·1 week agoAnd if you send a Best Offer on "eligible" items it seems to be seven days.
Not to mention counter offers.

OP1 week agoI guess we'll see. I sent some out Tuesday night. We're heading out Friday morning, will shut down the store tonight (Thursday).

·1 week agoFor eBay Canada, Offers to Buyers last for 2 days. For listings on .com, Offers to Buyers last for 4 days.

·1 week agoeBay .com used to be 2 days and then they extended that to 4 days sometime last year or the year before? Luckily, Canada did not follow suit!

·1 week agoI agree. 2 day window is plenty of time for someone to decide to buy or not, if they were serious about it in the first place.
