eIS not working! Comment if you're also having a problem!
Anybody else having eIS problems? I send a package to France and Germany last week no problem, and over the last two days (March 23 + 24), people from USA, Australia, Italy have been asking me for shipping quotes since the eIS isn't calculating cost for them. I thought it was something I did, but it appears other people are having the same issue. Comment so this thread gets the dev's attention!

Intl. INR's (Received late) and how they are treated - For Sellers and Buyers
Throwing this out there because the concern/kerfuffle comes up regularly. Does ANYONE know how Intl. INR's are treated when the delays are caused by customs issues? eBay when associated with eIS shows the estimated date but this disclaimer regarding customs delays is now MIA. Unsure how it shows now when couriers are involved both Canada to USA and Canada to world or vice versa. Over the last 25 years it's been there (the disclaimer) in assorted places in various forms. Are customs delays applicable INR's or are the "estimated dates" firm timeframes? Once a shipment is in the hands of customs no matter how it is shipped. A sender has no control at that point. Maybe someone else knows or is it just depends on the agent you connect with? Without consistency. Weather(fire, natural disasters, etc) delays would fall into the same basket but don't always get addressed the same way or priority. From most buyers perspective if it item doesn't arrive according to the window, item is an INR. End of story!!! @devon@ebay Can you shed some light on the issue? Re: Sellers trying to list/advertise via this forum
@byto253 Seems to be one of the quirks with the new version of this forum is we are seeing an influx of posts where sellers (usually newer) are trying to advertise...meaning sell. Hope when the post gets toasted/shot down/cancelled/poofed the OP gets advised as to the why. Otherwise they will have no idea that they had done something eBay improper. @devon@ebay As a side request can we get the default for dating being the ON position vs having to click on each one to turn on the date and then the flag will disappear the second as soon as you move on. Section 338 Tariffs - August 19, 2026
I received a message from Stallion this morning about the new Section 338 tariffs (50% on all items on the list, CUSMA does not help us get out of paying these). I looked through the list, stamps are on it. (9704.00) 4907.00 is NOT on the list (fiduciary paper) but I think they have to be US stamps and not used to qualify, world stamps of all kinds are under 9704. This will affect all my Canadian lots. I don't have so many world lots (I was putting Canada for the COO on those). Now I'm going to go country by country of what's in the package instead of saying it's a "collection assembled in Canada". How is everyone else going to handle the new tariffs? C.

Why is my shipment in Calgary? (Ebay International Shipping Program)
I got an American buyer who made an order through the Ebay International Shipping Program, so the "ship to" address is the usual Mississauga one. I buy the label through Ebay and send off the package in Toronto, where I'm from. It usually just takes 1-2 business days to deliver to the Mississauga address but it never got delivered there. Instead, 5 days later the package is in CALGARY, AB. Why?? Can I talk to a live agent on eBay
I have tried to speak to an agent at eBay as I have an issue that cannot be solved with the automatic replies. Cannot find a single phone number after one hour search. Does anyone have a phone number for Customer Support ? Thanks in advance Angel Diez Montreal

Your selling location may need updating
Just spotted this discussion on dot com. There are others. I believe the problem was first noted yesterday https://community.ebay.com/forum/selling-57920/topic/your-item-location-475254/ In just now attempting a sell similar I received an error message for bad location. When I clicked on tab the Postal Code that displayed was corrupted and showing a partial AB postal code (3 characters) . Your results may vary. It's affecting Canadian sellers too when you go to revise a listing. Doesn't "seem" to be on create. I found the ticket info attached to the dot com discussion.

Need help. Canada Post label purchases on eBay are temporarily unavailable
Hi everyone, I just made my first sale on ebay, i'm happy with it but i'm already face a strange situation. I have choose in the listing to use Ebay Canada post label to ship to europe, but when I sold my first item (to Netherlands) and went to print the label, there was this message from Ebay: "Due to EU customs reform regulations, Canada Post label purchases on eBay are temporarily unavailable for this destination. To complete your shipment, please purchase your shipping label directly from a carrier." This country ain't in the list that Canada Post can't ship it right now, on the Canada Post website it is possible to ship to this country. Ebay is probably not updated. Why I can choose this option if they claimed after a sale that it ain't possible? They offer me to print a FedEx label instead for 88,52$ while the buyer only paid 11,83$, so I would loose money chosing this option. On the Canada Post website, it is possible to get it ship by plane without tracking for 14,09$... can I choose to buy this label directly from Canada Post even I have choosen in the listing to buy from Ebay? Would it be a problem? It maybe is a entry level question, but I'm learning how it works and some aspects aren't that simple. Thank you very much in advance for the help, it is truly appreciated as I'm a bit lost on this issue. Best regards, Olivier

What needs to be fixed within eBay and more directly eBay Canada
If you could have ebay address a longstanding concern of yours as a seller or buyer what would it be? Limit 1 per customer. Void where prohibited by law. Taxes, tariffs & handling charges will be extra. Extra costs for beyond locations. I have 3 so leaving this blank. I just can't choose!! Maybe we will get a consensus? Who knows?
