Debating on getting rid of starter store
I have had a starter store since 2020 and am debating on whether or not it is worth keeping. It costs roughly $84 CAD per year to keep but I never list more than 80 listings and will never come close to 250 listings. Much of my business model is repeat sales of high margin sales in the 25-200$ range. The only benefit I get from it currently is a professional looking storefront and URL. I am wondering if this is worth the cost. Im leaning towards keeping it because this is the main place I sell my products and enjoy looking professional but im open to walking away from it. I also recently lost TRS for the first time after having it for 6 straight years because I have 96 instead of 100 transactions (old avg was 115-145 at any given time but now its 88-105 avg. ) no other issues, just a few transactions short and calculated ill now be hit with roughly 200-250$ per year in extra fees now and likely lose some more sales due to losing TRS via algorithm (kick em while theyre down mentality) This has caused me to find ways to cut costs and dead weight as much as possible in all facets of my business. I feel like I might be able to regain TRS status in the future but it will be a bumpy road and it wont be secured as easily as it once was. Please share your thoughts and experiences. thanks

UPS label overcharges
Just checked my UPS charges that came out of my account today and everyone one of them was overcharged from the original shipping labels I puchased. In most cases it was under a dollar but 2 of them I had going to the eIS hub in Mississauga were overcharged by 8.76 each. Anyone else having this problem?

Received a return request for a CD, how would you respond?
I received a return request for a faulty CD from a buyer in the US. I don't want the CD back and I am going to give him a full refund. But want to send him a message that I do check each CD with EAC to check for errors but sometimes the CD is just faulty and it doesn't show any errors. What would you say to this person? I don't want to discourage him from buying used CD's. Visually, the CD looks great, but I tested on 3 different CD and Blu-ray players. It plays back with horrible scratchy surface noise like an LP. I m not sure what it is - perhaps a refurbished CD that wiped away some of the data? Sometimes the playback is so bad that the player skips parts of the songs. It is across the entire album, on multiple tested systems.

Calculated shipping multiple units - Broken again!!!!!
@devon@ebay Just did a test on a long ago created listing with multiple units. It appears calculator is no longer doing the math. sample listing attached. Rates DO NOT update when you modify purchase quantity within the listing. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/155112025487?var=455291145335 Did not test from purchase screen. Checked personal settings and they were fine. "Combine all weights" is set. Appears shipping screen in listing no longer has a quantity box. ( Shipping, pickup, returns, and payments form). With flat rate items and multiple units it states how much additional charge would be (where applicable) but DOES NOT do the math. This could cause buyers potentially paying incorrect shipping/handling charge(s) if system is not doing math (across the board).

EIS issue
I sold a $5 stamp with letter mail shipping. Somehow it went through EIS and the EIS address is provided. Stamps are NOT ALLOWED to be shipped via EIS. This happened once before for no obvious reason so I contacted the buyer and we agreed to cancel the transaction and for me to relist it which I did and he purchased it and it went through fine that time. This time the buyer has not responded and it is 2 days pat the date to ship. What should I do? Cancel due to a problem with address?

i dont want EIS to be the default service for international shipping. How?
Ive noticed my sales to the US took a huge noise dive in the last few weeks. At the same time, i have noticed that Ebay International Shipping has been made the default international shipping service instead of my own shipping service which was much much cheaper and allowed me to stay competitive with Us sellers. For example, for a $140 item i have for sale, i was charging $30 shipping and EIS is charging $180 include import fees. Thats a hugely ridiculous difference that absolutely guarantees no buyers for my item. I looked in shipping settings and there is no way to remove EIS from being the default. Any suggestions? P.S. yes, my own shipping options are still there but no prospective buyer is going to click thru the menu and select them. and search algorithms will use the inflated EIS shipping cost to place my listing way at the bottom

Bug: Can't send $ offers to buyers on mobile anymore, only % ones
This started a few days ago on the mobile app (Android) in Canada. For individual listings where I could send an offer to an interested buyer, I could send either a $ discount or a % discount. It now only gives me the option to send a % discount. Normally if you select multiple listings that have send offer, it only lets you send % discounts. I think the bug has set it into this mode even if you only are sending an offer on one listing. No problems on desktop. @devon@ebay Please take a look and ask if it's fixable, it's made it harder to send offers to buyers. Thank you.

Re: eIS shipping to hub by letter mail
Has anyone come up with a workable solution for shipping low value items to the eIS hub with a tracked service when buyer automagically pays for letter mail? Mostly addressing anyone located in the farther reaches of Canada vs those sellers located in ON/QC where it is not as risky. There just isn't enough left over on a 15 dollar sale to cover expedited lite out of a sellers pocket and chit chats etc are not an option. Or do you just throw your hands in the air and send letter taking your chances? Under the new world circumstances are there sellers that were opted into eIS that are or will opt out shortly?

eIS not working! Comment if you're also having a problem!
Anybody else having eIS problems? I send a package to France and Germany last week no problem, and over the last two days (March 23 + 24), people from USA, Australia, Italy have been asking me for shipping quotes since the eIS isn't calculating cost for them. I thought it was something I did, but it appears other people are having the same issue. Comment so this thread gets the dev's attention!

Why do my CUSMA products have import fees via EIS?
I spoke to an ebay rep about EIS and theyre telling me I can ship my handmade oil paint via EIS. I was under the impression that I couldnt because AI would go haywire over the words "oil" and "paint" So I turned on EIS and I am noticing hefty import fees for my CUSMA listings (they are not effected by the 50% tariff on Canada). Does anyone know why this is? They should all be 0% tariffs and little to no brokerage (less than a dollar per package via chitchats). I expected the actual shipping cost to be higher but why am I seeing 10%+ in import fees on all of my listings now? I only want to use this temporarily until ebay gets rid of the false import fee warning on my listings but I might need to rethink. Why do my CUSMA products have 16% in import fees?
