The problem with zombie posts is that the information and advice may be out of date or no longer valid.
In this case, there were resignations, firings and jail sentences.
@reallynicestamps not to mention a deferred prosecution agreement with the US Attorney's office to avoid eBay (the company) being charged criminally by paying a $3 Million dollar settlement to the government and agreeing to have an indepent compliance monitor for 3 years.
And there's also still a civil lawsuit brought by the victims against the 7 eBay employees or contractors who were charged criminally plus ex execs CEO Devin Wenig, Chief Communications Officer Steve Wymer, SVP Global Operations Wendy Jones, eBay Inc. and Progressive Force Concepts (a security company eBay used to contract analysts and other personell) - that civil case is still going through the system and set for a 2025 trial date.
