A Xmas miracle - sold 2 items to a "No longer a registered user". ;-)
Summary: hansatrade shared a surprising experience of selling two items to an account that is listed as "No longer a registered user." This thread includes responses but lacks further context or content, leaving the exact nature of the interactions unclear.
The buyer registered TODAY, purchased 2 items, and then immediately became a聽聽"No longer a registered user".聽馃榿 Kind of funny. The buyer is from the UK, paid 100 bucks, the address seems to be valid, so I will ship the items.聽Fortunately, I have 4 days to ship until our postal offices reopen, so I will know the payment has cleared, or not.聽

路7 months agoI have had this before, if I recall properly it was someone already unregistered that tried to come back again, but got bots-caught and re-zapped, or it was a problem with their payment setup/processing.聽

I may be misremembering but I believe the funds stayed. I didn't ship, if I recall I got an ebay message saying to not do anything so that's what I did and I don't recall ebay ever taking the funds back. (Was only $20 ish though).

Instant buyer's remorse? Or poorly planned scam?聽

OP7 months agoIt's weird聽馃榾 I also thought maybe the buyer just wanted to cancel the order, and mistakenly cancelled the account instead聽馃榾

I was still able to send a message to the buyer , but there was no answer. BTW, I will ship the items anyway, with full tracking. If it's a scam, it will not work, since the buyer will not be able to open an INR dispute.聽聽

路7 months agoTwice I have a buyer NARU'ed after I shipped.聽 The money was in so it was a total low stress sale!
