Good morning all. I list all my items in .ca now since the change to the di minimus & tariffs. Yesterday my husband wanted to check an item in my store. He always goes on .com. He could not find my store or any listings under my user name. He searched a unusual category that I had an item in, one other came up but not mine. He used the exact title on this item & searched & still nothing came up. Only when he searched on .ca did they come up. I am set up to ship internationally to the hub & as far as I know it is set up correctly. I thought the reason I had no sales to US was because of tariffs & increased shipping cost thru hub. Perhaps it is more than that if no one can fund them.
Would like to talk to eBay about this but always so darn difficult to actually talk to a real person thought I would ask here first. I think I will need to call & see if I have something missing in my listings. What is the best way to actually get hold of a person?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

·5 months agoDo you have an example we would search for to replicate not finding a result?
'He searched a unusual category that I had an item in'
Is it when searching in only a specific category items are not found in the category?

OP5 months agoHi jtg204. The specific item he searched on .com was item # 267560750387. It did not come up in the general search nor with the specific title. It came up fine in both instances on .ca. thanks for your reply.

·5 months agoFor that example it looks like it falls into something deemed not eligible for United States via EIS.
If not because it's knives, I remember @mandicrafts noticed all their pewter items were affected (then some weren't later) see this post:

Edit: Reluctant to suggest this anymore, but sending a message to EIS@ebay.ca wouldn't hurt.

·5 months agoHello!
I understand your questioning so much. I experience the same phenomenon. I have 32,000 tracks for sale and sometimes I test searches and I don't see our tracks appear as if they didn't exist. Anyway, I look forward to seeing the rest of this conversation.

On the majority of your shipping seeing flat rate/PU only to USA. Is that what you have intended to display?

·5 months agoBy inserting your user name into advanced search on .COM found 312 items...

OP5 months agoI understand to search for seller or store you do need to do advanced search. Yesterday though it did not show up for him on .com, only .ca. buyers unless repeat would not know to search either my id or store. When he searched a category I had listed in & then put in the specific title nothing came up on the .com site.
thanks for checking for me though.
